Natori (名取市, Natori-shi?) is a city located in Miyagi Prefecture, Japan.
As of 2010, the city has an estimated population of 72,757 and a population density of 727 persons per km². The total area is officially 100.07 km².
The town of Natori was founded on April 1, 1955 from two towns and four villages. On October 1, 1958, it achieved city status.
The entire town area including the Sendai Airport was severely damaged by the March 2011 tsunami.[1]
